From a TFC Small Group to Create 365!

This past Friday I had the privilege to be a part of a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Create 365. It is a Scrap-booking and Craft store that just opened in Scott of I-10. The owners are Jasin and Amy Muffeletto. Here is the story: Amy began a small group of women from TFC several years ago who loved the hobby of scrap-booking. Every semester of TFC Small groups Amy would participate. Her group began to grow and expand beyond her wildest dreams. Her small group became a Large group and had to meet in larger venues in Lafayette. Amy has always had a dream of owning a scrap-booking store - Her dream is now reality! “Never despise the days of small beginnings”.
Please pray for Amy and Jasin as they have taken a huge step of faith and now are the proud owners of CREATE 365! Amy and Jasin, we pray God’s blessings upon you and your family with your new business and project!
As Pastor, I so encourage all of you to be a part of a TFC Small Group, you never know what God can do!

Sportsplex Updates!

I know that it has been several months since I posted to this blog page. I think the main reason is that I use Facebook more often because I have a FB App on my phone. It makes it much easier. Anyway, the Sportsplex is making great strides. We are probably less than 90 days away from completion. Hope that you will find time to come and see it upon completion.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Held TODAY!

This morning at 8:30AM, we held the official Groundbreaking Ceremony for The new SPORTSPLEX. A 2.5 Million Dollar expansion to be used by TFC and LCA. We were honored to have Parish President Joey Durel with us as well as, Chief of Police Jim Craft, Councilman Sam Dore, and many others.
It is truly an amazing undertaking. A building that we have needed for quite a few years now and finally that day will soon arrive. The facility will have many needed areas for our student athletes and the families of TFC. Indoor courts and outdoor fields, weight room, exercise facility, and so much more. Thank you all for being a part of the Vision of the House and Vision of LCA! I will post pictures from todays event real soon.

TFC Men arrive back from Mexico Missions Trip!

On Wednesday of last week, over 20 men from TFC headed out to the boarder town of Elsa near Mexican Boarder to build and assemble the new roof on the Church. They returned this past Sunday night around 5PM. Pastor Freddie of Mexico, our good friend for many years, host us well each time we go down there. The men worked from Sun up to Sun down for 3 days and accomplished about 2 weeks of work in those short 3 days. TFC Men, you made us proud and I know that your reward for your service will be great in the days ahead for your sacrifice. TFC also offers a trip for the entire family twice a year. Contact Pastor Dwayne or Shelley Williams for dates and more info if you would like to take your family down to Mexico with us. Truly a life changing experience for all. This wednesday night the men who attended this last trip will be sharing their experiences with us at 6:30PM. Be a part of something BIG!
